I thought today was the nicest day we have had in a long time and ended up going to Wales (for the first time) with few friends from uni and didnt realise how good the road are that way!!

Went to some bike meet and then hooned it all the way home. First proper ride of the year and was one of those days that reminds you of all the reasons I spend on owning/running a bike.

Anyone else make it out today?

i spend pretty the whole day from 10am-5pm out in the peak just trying new roads/routes out, found some crackers aswell and my brand new rear tyre is now well and truly scrubbed Cool good times.

although the weather was absolutely perfect the one thing that did spoil it a bit was all the cars ruining the best corners, seemed to annoy me a lot more than usual today for some reason, even if it was just a couple they were taking 50-60 mph turns at well under 30 and there in a car ffs, which did get me shouting obsenities in my helmet a few times Twisted Evil. gotta give credit to a RAC van man though on the cat and fiddle as he was infront of me for a good stretch and didnt slow me down at all in the corners, he was mental Laughing

good day all in all, really enjoyed it Thumbs Up

'Cept me! Crying or Very sad . Not having a bike on the road in this weather seriously sucks ass. Not only that, I've got no cabrio either at the moment, and yes, I would like you to get your tiny violins out!

A bunch of us popped up to Exeter and back to get a workmate settled with his new R6. The weather was absolute stunning and unsuprisingly loads of bikes were out and about, we caught up with a large organised ride coming back across Dartmoor as well, I suspect we confused their junction markers when we turned off towards Tavi though Smile

Yeah, I was out today.......in my front "drive" fixing my new undertray in place. Wasn't riding though, despite the warm weather, I was nowhere near sober enough to do so. Sad

Been out every weekend since last July, except a couple that were impossible due to bikes dying and the like.

That scene looks a lot like the bus stop in Abergavenny, if I'm not mistaken.

Passed through there myself today

You will find it packed out like that every Sunday, hundreds of bikes just seem to congregate there

Of course. Out on the Focus for most of the day, then chilled out as the sun went down on Mucky. Awesome way not to get a sun tan.

Yea i know the feeling, was one of those days where you start wanting more power (which i never get in day to day riding).

I love spring and summer SO much.

Flip - I did it the other way round! Yesterday gardening and today out on the bike. Went over to Eastleigh to a Bike Meet and met up with Clanger, so chatted lots and then took the long ride home! It was a bit windy on the motorway, but just lovely on the lanes and there were lots of bikes about down here in Dorset Very Happy

I was going to say that, I was there last year with Deanoet, only it was p!ssing it down when we were there, then we went to Aberystwyth for tea.

I went to hadrian's wall today with SteveP, had a fantastic run up there, from Blackpool, along A6, we did stop at Kirkby Lonsdale at 10am, it was heaving with bikes.
