Anybody got some actual experience of these tyres? Comparisons also welcome.

Interested in them as I love my regular diablo's, but they dont last long on the TL. My new diablo corsa on the rear is wearing quickly after just 800 or so miles Mad

How long do the strada's last? They look just like a chunkier, diablo, with extra deep tread, which would do me nicely.

Brilliant tyre IMO.

I always used to use BT014s on my 7Rs, but they only lasted 2-3000 miles. Had some Stradas fitted as I was doing a stint in Europe and they lasted approx 7000 miles for a rear. I expected grip levels to be lower than the BT014, but they were just as competent.

A Thumbs Up from me at least.

I have them on my CBR. Front tyre feels a little more 'wooden' than the standard Diablo - like a little less feedback when pitching the bike into a corner at speed - but I guess that's just a confidence thing. Other than that, I can't really feel any difference. Performed better during winter in comparison to the R6 shod standard Diablos last year though.

I rate them. Had a set fitted on my ZX6R, no issues wet or dry, road or track. No slides or lack of grip. Sold the bike before the tyres got to the end of their life but they do last well.

Good enough for this on the track

So what would you recommend then Valentino Rolling Eyes

there is no such thing as a bad tyre these days only different levels of brilliant.

and when the radial tyre was made avaliable to the masses in about 1985 this was the best thing to happen in bikeing for years safty and performance wise Thumbs Up

Was this the TLR? Did it really chew them in 3k? Shocked

I got 9k out of a set, and could have got more if only them being square wasn't doing my head in.

Oi, you, how dare you wear the same leathers as me? Mr. Green Dainese aren't they? Got the exact same set sat behind me right now.

I had a set of Diablo stradas on my Bandit 12 a few years ago, they were OK but the middle of the rear chewed up very quickly towards the end of their life, I can't remember how many miles I got out of them but I didn't buy another set.

Cheers

Grim

Only messing, and its the S not R. Just dont think the michelins are worth paying £50 - £60 more than another well regarded touring tyre. Wear rate seems to vary greatly too.
They wore well on my ninja, but dont think they'd have given more than 5k.
