NC30, weird/loose front end

Recently the front end of my bike has been terrible... I thought it might have just been a couple of off days, but its not.

At low speeds the front seems to pull to the right a bit, and whenever I weave at 20-40mph if feels like my front tire is right on the edge of losing traction and disappearing front beneath me.

Anyone had this before or knows where I should start investigating?

Pressures are fine, first thing I checked.

Wheel bearings?

Check your wheels nuts are tight.
I once rode round with the back wheel lose, wasn't a pleasent experience and knocked my cornering confidence for ages.. Laughing

Are the head race bearings ok? Get the front end off the ground and check for play in that and the wheel bearings. A badly worn rear tyre can make the front feel twitchy too.

Sounds like wheel bearings to me, check them and check head bearings, they usually clunk when you brake if you push the bike, they can be tightened usually, wheel bearings just need swapping.

Check the rear aswell somtimes problems at the back can feel like it's the front. What condition is the rear shock in?

Headstock bearings are certainly worth a check.

Could be an out of shape tyre.

wheel bearings are fine, both wheels

Tyres are fine, fairly new with plenty of tread, they're not squared/

Headstock bearings were sorted 9 month ago, still worth a check?

The rear shock is original I think, bike is over 10 years old, 24k on the clock, may well be the shock then. It's fine at higher speeds, just at lower speeds its funny.
