Hello,
I removed my rear wheel from my dt125r today and on inspection of the axel and what i assume is the spacers, i noticed this:

bent "spacer" in question:

The axel in full:

the "spacer" has been bent, on the part which goes into the wheel (covering/sealing the bearings i'm assuming), does this pose any sort of problem for my bike or does it need replaced ?

Thanks for all the help

david

If it's the bit I think it is then no ... it's just to prevent the majority of crap getting between the spindle and the wheel.

If it's the same as other bikes you'll find it's a stamped piece of metal which is pushed onto the spacer ... you should be able to knock it off and then straighten it up before putting it back on.

All the best ... Barry
