I think there's some mad drivers/riders out there whatever vehicle theyre using, saw a car once go onto the pavement of a busy road, to get past some traffic jammed in front, let alone the guy on the program complaining of a bike doing it
That woman who rode to work on her pedal bike had obviously brain washed her kids to say "and motorists don't see us", why do they only put posh people on the programs. On average though i'd say truck drivers are more aware than car drivers, and obviously a car/truck driver who has a bike licence is greatly aware
Went to the BMF in a van on sunday cause friends bike was in bits, loads of bikes waving thanks when we pulled in a lot as the bikes came past, which is nice Sat on a hayabusa and a r1, very nice, may be getting an r1 next year, not sure yet, bandits fine for me at the moment |

So far i've not done that to anyone. If I somehow did it to a cage that I didn't know, I might consider getting them to pay, but if I did it to someone I know or someone on a bike, i'd empty my bank account for them. Also, when i've got my cage license, I'll move pull over at lights for any bike that rides sensibly. (maybe not peds though) Certainly don't want the mirrors on my mg Midget getting bashed, they will just break off! (Things so low you will be able to kick them if I did piss you off!)
Irresponsible car drivers are a nightmare to me as well, even on a pushbike. Especially buses. Going down a hill that shouldn't be a bus route anyway, going for a large gap between a parked car and the bus, bus driver doesn't see me, pulls over MUCH further than he needed to, I lock brakes, somehow miss the bus and the parked car and end up with flat spots on my tires and feeling very shaken .
If a cage drives past me stupidly they always get a and a
I think car drivers should have to take a re-test ever year to assess their driving and ban them if they drive stupidly!
