Got my nero apointment @ 3pm. cat scans / mri scans. To see if my tumour has coem back on my brain. Hopefully it hasnt. If it has i guess I can kiss goodbye to my bikes for this year and might aswell sell up (2 rd350ypvs's , ns125 ,zxr400) fingers crossed. if its all clear i will be putting the plastics back on the zxr and trashing the shit out of it tonight!!!



just hope i dont end up like this again :

ferk all news waste of time forgot to book my scans . IDIOTS!


quack asked em about fits etc. i have had none. bla bla/ then when i mentioned riding my biek he said she shouldnt see a problm but i may need to inform the dvla ....



ops i havent .....



LOl oh atleast the zxr runs better than ever and still loves the red line Very Happy


damn i love it with 33bhp cant wait to put it to full power

I come across this often in my line of work.

DVLA are incredibly strict on Neurological disorders. It is your responsibility to notify them of anything which compromise your safety driving and (especially) riding. They will then make the decision if you are safe, not your doctor or specialist although they can give evidence.

In practice, if there is any doubt then our doc's err on the side of caution as they don't want to be at coroner's court explaining why they let somebody drive when they weren't fit to do so.

If a doctor thinks that you won't inform DVLA they are advised to strongly persuade you to do so and if not they can do so themselves irrespective on confidentiality.

Glad you seem to be getting better though. That first picture was grim. Shitter that the NHS cocked up the appointments (again!!).

I'm trying to remember, but I think my consultant's office just told the DVLA straight off, without giving me a chance to do it myself.
