How about an SV650S?
Reasonably powerful, half faired and light. They are actually remarkably quick and they handle well.

Yeah I expect so, doubt you'd get a gixxer in as good condition for the same money. ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F

Or, you could look at the Fazer 600. You should be able to find one for that sort of money. And people keep telling me that the older model is actually better than the new one.

I'm with Marjay (not literally ) An SV650S would probably be best and they are available at £2500 quite easily. They look good, sound great, lots of stuff you can do to them and they're relatively fast but very user friendly.
Hope that helps. ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |

SV's are very nice, i have a friend whos about to buy one, the riding position is good, they're supposed to handle well and at around 70bhp, can't go wrong. ____________________ Chase my Witch up, Catch my Snitch up.
