 |
|
Have grown a bit sick of listening to my muted engine and looking at that scabby end can so am on the look out for a new pipe for my SV650S yr 2000.
Problem is I haven't a clue where to look, have checked the usual haunts such as ebay and the SV forum but not that much joy so far.
Have got my eye on one exhaust but need to have more of a look around.
So if anyone can give me a link to a site or shop I'd be really gratefull.
I'm looking for a can with all the link pipes, holders and baffle for no more than £150 odd.
I know it's not much but it is a 9 year old SV so I don't see the point in spending tons, just want a bit more noise.
Used or brand new it doesn't matter just as long as it isn't manky looking.
Anything else I need to add just let me know .
Thanks . |

Yea viper sound really good (youtube) but I've found that prices vary depending on where and whom you buy it from, I don't know how to go around finding the cheapest.
I saw a beauwulf stubby being sold on ebay for £170 but on some other company website they were flogging same exhaust for over £200 .
Saw twin renegade exhausts being sold on ebay couple of days ago but missed out .
EDIT: The fuel don't come with a link pipe? Is there any way to get one as I don't want to cut my exhaust. |

I just got a pair of SS cans with blue burn effect on them (not actually sure on the make, off ebay for £90
I think it all good timing on ebay. I spent 3 weeks trying to find a pair of cans just searching ebay every other day and you will find what you want ____________________ Current - Hornet 600, Transalp 650, X140 Pit, GPZ400R

[quote="Nyarlathotep"]I have the same bike as you, and am very happy with my fuel stainless steel oval:

Really impressed with the quality of my stainless oval and it sounds great too!
Bought the cheaper one which had the rivetted baffle. If you can afford it, probably better paying slightly more for the one with the removable baffle. Drilling it out was a bit of a P.I.T.A., but it maybe would have been easier if I'd had better drill bits! |

Just bought myself an MTC pipe for the versys. Great sound, road legal and has removable baffles. Came with everything I needed to connect, clamps and link pipe...all for 176 delivered.

Something will come up on ebay, just be patient if you don't want to spend too much cash. ____________________ Suzuki GSX-R750K4 ~ Mivv GP |

Having a look at that viper site now, thanks Itch.
Have had the Carbon co in my watch list for a few days now, he wouldn't end the auction early so will see how it goes.
Don't think I need to cut my exhaust, at least Ram hasn't mentioned it.
Came across a site called madforbikes and they have a Delcovitch? exhaust system for £120, checked on youtube and it sounds nommy but has anyone had any experience with them?
Nup not looking at big names, unless they are going cheap.
EDIT: Just called Sandy bike spares and he said they don't do any exhausts for the SV . |
