I mean for the slipping and slidding all over the place, with the sh1ts and giggles.

One memory is of when I was riding through my village on the GT and the front just fell away ended up ramming my leg under it to save the fairing and got spun a few times, but then got up and rode the rest of the way to work p1ssing myself with laughter about it.

Anyone else the same?

Fucking hate winter. I'm a big girls blouse who rides a cruiser and only ride when it's nice.

I gave up biking (insane 250 strokers) years ago when I got knocked off and bollocksed my leg up. Got a car then and I use that whenever it's shit outside.

Main reason I don't like bad weather is the drivers who slam on their anchors in front of you, and that I don't like having to clean the shit off the chrome after every ride.

If you want some fun riding now, wait for some rain (not much required) and find a corner like the one HERE and go round the inside lane at 50+ (its national speed limit). There is a lovely big white arrow in the middle of the corner which acts like a really fun slide for your tyres!! WEEEEEEEE!!!

Trickysax, I think i'm in love, we have a few corners like that my way on, that when you have the slightest bit of ran on them on a sunny day, they become drift heaven. On particular road has a 6ft ditch on one side and a canal on the other and is just pure twisty fun for about 3miles. Totally flat, and totally smooth, so if you want scarey try and do it at around a ton using all the road. If you fancy absolute out and out terrifying shit your pants and then some, try above a ton on just once side of the road. And I bet you £100 that your rear tyre will be somewhere down the bank on parts of it as you drift round. My good i've got horn.

Also speed record down nice tight twisty farm trarcks are always fun. But more so in the winter.

I got caught out in the rain whilst I was in Dubai over Easter, started chucking it down and the roads just turned into an ice rink, banked the bike over to the left for a turn and just felt the back end squirm and the engine revs suddenly a jump a couple of thousand. Changed my underwear shortly after and decided that's the last time I'm riding in rain.

Absolute lolage. I really do love the winter riding. I still remember the 1st winter I rode. Was having a laugh al on my own when I spun round 180, rodebackwards for a few seconds then went sliding down the road on my back a filled my bike jacket full of snow, ha ha good times.

Even had a laugh this winter on the GT, in that snow that shut down London and all the fairy Southerner's were staying at home I was out, going to college in about 3inch of snow with the missus on the back. Then the next week, it started snowing at roughly dinner got the chance to go home at 2pm when it was "Getting bad" chose not to, but went out and did ace drifts in the college carpark which was absolutely deserted, with my like minded friends. And when I left college it must have been a good 3 - 4 inch thick. Only took about 2hours to do the 1mile ride home. and most of that was the last 2miles haha.

Bring on the winter.

My view. Very good, nice power to wieght (even on restricted) shit loads of torque, only group 9 insurance (I think) Cheap to run, 50-60mpg depending on how you ride.

With mine, I did 133miles down the m1 and m5, at 100+ mph and it just sat there as if it was doing nothing. And bugger me whoever designed the geomoetery (sp?) on that frame is a god. I can sit back and ride the bloody thing with my feet, and then get my toes down on the floor, with it fully loaded with camping gear and the missus, at somewhere around 90mph.

If your thinking about getting one, join up with www.korider.net but trust me you will not be disappointed with this bike. If you push it it will go further.

One thing about the Hyosungs tho that seems to be a flaw thats highlighted in winter or in my case lack of care. Due to the short front mudguard, alot of crap gets thrown up inside the fairings and the ignition wiring can corrode it its not tied up out the way and properly covered.

Unfortunately I have to disagree with my brother (Warped). The GT was probably one of the worst handling bikes I've ridden!

After being pushed too hard one day on a ride with my dad he was thrown off the thing!
