Not at all considering I ride a faired bike. I loved riding in the snow, was fun for a little bit but enough is enough.

Sun is fun. Thumbs Up

Fucking hate winter. I'm a big girls blouse who rides a cruiser and only ride when it's nice.

I gave up biking (insane 250 strokers) years ago when I got knocked off and bollocksed my leg up. Got a car then and I use that whenever it's shit outside.

Main reason I don't like bad weather is the drivers who slam on their anchors in front of you, and that I don't like having to clean the shit off the chrome after every ride.

If you want some fun riding now, wait for some rain (not much required) and find a corner like the one HERE and go round the inside lane at 50+ (its national speed limit). There is a lovely big white arrow in the middle of the corner which acts like a really fun slide for your tyres!! WEEEEEEEE!!!

come to new zealand, winter is just starting to kick in,
looks to be a good ski season too, hopefully as good as last year with a 5meter snow base... fun times, roll on the snow

I got caught out in the rain whilst I was in Dubai over Easter, started chucking it down and the roads just turned into an ice rink, banked the bike over to the left for a turn and just felt the back end squirm and the engine revs suddenly a jump a couple of thousand. Changed my underwear shortly after and decided that's the last time I'm riding in rain.

My bike was okay in the winter I guess, tyres are quite narrow so it tends to grip well but it has no weight to push it down. Laughing

Slightly off topic, GT650R, good/bad?

One thing about the Hyosungs tho that seems to be a flaw thats highlighted in winter or in my case lack of care. Due to the short front mudguard, alot of crap gets thrown up inside the fairings and the ignition wiring can corrode it its not tied up out the way and properly covered.

Hi,
Unfortunately I have to disagree with my brother (Warped). The GT was probably one of the worst handling bikes I've ridden!

After being pushed too hard one day on a ride with my dad he was thrown off the thing!

Regards,
Shaun.

If you find summer boring, and actually miss winter, I'd learn to ride a hell of a lot quicker than you currently can or take it on a trackday.

Then you may start to enjoy it more. Thumbs Up

Forgot how fast I was going last night, went in to a corner and realised how wet and slippy it was, got gently on the power and two wheel drifted right on to the other side of the road.

Dont like winter but enjoy wet roads.

The return leg of my SP1 test ride was in the snow, not at all fun if I'm honest. A lighter more durable bike would likely be proper laugh though Smile
