WTF's a favicon.

Is it dangerous, will there be a pandemic, will it just take our first born, will it have an adverse affect on my pension, what about immigrants, more or less, is it a giant bird or a dinosaur, is it a bird, is it plane...

More and more I feel I'm being left behind by a world I understand less and less...

A favicon... So is this a posticon? Am I a usicon? How do you pronounce it? FAVicon, favIcon or favICON... Why didn't they call it a prefericon? I don't like being dictated to...

Hi

It is there in Opera and Firefox. Although in Firefox it doesn't bother to display any tab (which is what it is displayed on) if there is only one tab open.

Doesn't look right in Opera on the default sking as it is a black icon with a transparent background, but on a black background. Hence you get a load of nasty dots around it.

Is this the workings of the ever illusive(sp?) korn? Or can somebody else do things like this?
