Dear Bikechatforums,

Thank you for your patience, in a little over 12 hours I depart for the BIG ONE , the riide across Russia.

I am feeling a bit anxious about this since there are so many unknowns to contend with. Anybody who says they are not would be lying.

But all roads (hopefully) lead to one another, and as I motivate myself for this trip I always think.

"If not now when?".

With me luck , and follow my adventures here

https://two-wheeled-adventures.blogspot.com/ (original eh)

North BCF folks , keep it going in my absence! Very Happy

до свидания (do svi-dan-niye !)Till I see you again

Are you sure that you want to go ahead without company, because you'll have nobody to help you if you fall and get hurt on a lonely stretch of road or run into trouble with a local or two on your travels that may want to rob you or beat the crap out of you for just being a foreigner in his country?

Your lucky that the frame doesn't develop a crack with not a good enough suspension with all that weight if you're are feeling it is to heavy. As what happened to one of the BMW bikes was carrying far to much weight as seen in the "Around the World Motorcycle Ride" by Ewan & Charley.

Good luck if you go ahead with it by yourself!
