Something like that shouldn't square your tyre off, like lonewolf said it could be over inflated... or it is in your head because you think you have done a bit straight line riding. ____________________ Past: Honda x8rs, Honda City fly, Honda Hornet 250, Honda VFR750, Yamaha xt600e.

Do you realise that is you took a straight line route, its only 14 more mile than you did to get from london to glasgow....
So no way is your 330 mile trip going to be anything like a lot of straight lines. It will be more like any other trip we all take, with a mixture of straight and curves.
Would help if you gave info on bike and tyre type and then add in what pressure you are running at.
I would guess even a race slick, would stand 330 mile without squaring off on the roads.
Perhaps it's when you look at the tyre, you now have larger unused bits at the side, that you did before. Thus giving a perception of it squaring off. ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |

On the road tyres square in the middle, I can't see how anyone can NOT square off a tyre on the road.
Your best bet is to either accept it as a part of biking life or get a dual compound tyre to try and minimise the effect*!
*it'll still happen though!! ____________________ The purpose of life is to fight maturity. |
