I got asked out yesterday (not that you care, I realise) and the bloke in question rides a big BMW motorbike. Now, I know nothing about bikes but seem to think I was dimly aware that if you are a "real" bker you don't ride a BMW... AM I wrong? Are they cool? Are Ducatis generally cool? Or what is?

I hope this isn't too much of a pain in the bum girly question but it's been bugging me!

a cool bike is a bike thats loved by the owner so to him its cool in my eyes bmws arnt cool but thats just my opion
as is he a real biker! yea why not he owns and rides a bike hes a biker

I wasn't basing what I thought of him or whether I would go out with him on what kind of bike he rode... I was just looking for something to go on in case I needed to give him a bit of a slagging... I've got to have something - he doesn't like football and I've never met a boy with a bike before.

Okay here's a heads up. BMW stands for Bayerische Motoren Werke, or Bavarian Motor Works in the Queen's tongue. These bikes run on Bavarian smoked cheese, therefore as a nice gift to him get yourself down to Tesco and buy him the biggest 'sausage' of it you can find. Present it to him and announce 'This is to put in your tank' with a smile and a wink. Then politely enquire if he has an equally sized piece to put in your tank. He will most probably smile and nod his head vigerously - this is because he will think you ride a BMW as well. You have bonded.
