Has anyone on here ever traveled a really long way on their 125? Im planning a trip around the UK in 2 monthish and i just wondered what its going to be like!
I know we cant cover as many bikes due to the size of our CC's but part from that i dont think it can be that much different from doing a tour on a bigger bike!

A guy clocked up massive amounts of mileage back in the '70s on a Mobylette moped.

If you have enough patients and determination you could tour the world on any bike. Will have a look at those links after I have done some revision... ____________________ Past: Honda x8rs, Honda City fly, Honda Hornet 250, Honda VFR750, Yamaha xt600e.

I promissed to myself that if I win the lottery I would take my RS125 for round the world trip, take some parts with me.. and then settle in the place where the bike dies in the end. Probably France or Germany |

I would do the same on the GZ if I won the lottery, as I'd have enough money to not need to carry around loads of things, and if the bike died, I could buy a new one from wherever it dies (hopefully Ukraine, Dnepr FTW). ____________________ Current Bikes: Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 (2020)

From then on, I and the bicycle feelings deeper. |

I'd get bored of the noise but then occasionally jump off the bike and stick my nose inside the pipe and smell the two stroke.
Then jump straight back on and ride another 1000 miles. ____________________ "Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul."

What parts of the uk are you looking to cover on your trip? I did a ride out for comic relief in feb this year on my varadero 125.
The following route was 466 miles in total
Corby- (Home)
Banbury-(starting place)
Beots-y-coed-(halfway point)
Banbury-(finish)
Corby.
Took me 13 and a half hours
But i loved it. If you planning on passing though my neck of the woods of this area of the country then let me know may join you for a days ride ____________________ 1st bike - chunlan starway 50QF4 (SOLD) 2nd bike - 92 Honda mtx125RW-L ( In my garage awaiting some TLC)
