A fair bit more than 1850...
Exhaust is big but I think I might keep it as it just attracts less attention.

I got a bike again because I've had my play with cars and bikes are rapid. Mr. Green

Doh, if only you'd talked to me... could have saved him some money with some invaluable advice ... "turn the throttle more" Wink.
Unless he really did want the higher top speed, not a generally quicker bike, of course.

Nice bike, anyway, some day I will have a bike with silly(er) power to see what it's like, maybe shortly before I put the engine in a kit car Smile.

Jordan,

Keep an eye on the exhausts. There's a crowd of 12R riders that turn up to my local bike meet at 6 Hills in Melton and 3 of their bikes have a nice heat patina/burn stain on their silencer. I think Vee also had some blemmish on his zorst too.

Also, keep checking your airbox to find that you haven't sucked in a pheasant. Still, the front end of the ZX12R B looks sharp and aggressive. Btw, is the pillion seat actually under the cowl bit? I've always been confused with that.

Suggestion in getting crash bungs since that bike's a monocoque chassis, so it could easily be damaged in a side spill.

Big kwaks have always looked better in black imo.

Yes titz, 2 screws and the cover comes off.

Dunc, Thats rubbish as I got it today from Oxford and didn't pick it up until 2 and it took me 2 hours or moe to get home, that and I've not overtaken anyone on chevrons! (I've hardly overtaken anyone) Laughing

I've been bikless since april 06 so if anyone thinks I'm gonna ride like a nutter they are very much mistaken, I've not even really opened it up yet and its mental.

(P.S can you remove my numberplate)

Laughing I'll let him know.

He's a speed freak, and does some mileage on it. been riding for 20 odd years, very good rider. Last I heard was he put a power commander and a full Yoshi system on it. He's a mechanic so he's probably tweaked it a little as well. (He made a little boat out of junk, using a traffic island keep left sign as the steering column. So most people here would probably like him. Laughing )

I was gonna say that sticker looked it was OnYerBike? I've never been to the onyertriumph showroom; where is it exactly? Since the main ducati aylesbury showroom is between bicester and aylesbury on the A41.

I have one thats going.

Op - Noice, shame its the slightly slower model Wink
Nah, they are mental bikes, be careful or you wont have your license long Laughing

Find a nice empty bit of dual carrigeway and pin till you wimp out, i managed just over 200 on the clocks before laying off, and did it all to often thereafter, which is why mine has to go - plus i have trouble touching the floor properly Shifty
Get a new can, like titz said mine has heat spots - they get very, very hot.

Welcome to the club Smile

They are an awesome bike, even the non-green ones Wink - the only bike that I havent got used to the utter power of, but its also happy to be treated like a sports tourer if you just bung it in a high gear.

What tyres has it got on? I switched from the standard 200's to 190's on the advice of a few owners and it really does make quite a difference to the handling and how quickly it turns in. I ditched my exhaust for a Quill T2 - not too loud but adds a nice deep base. Also doesnt mess up the standard fuelling.

I purchased Helibars for mine to make it even more comfy- can happily ride it all day long now.

Heres a pic of mine from a bimble in the dales yesterday:

And one of the exhaust:

Running the standard 200 at the rear but are basically new 014's so no plans of changing them at the moment.

As I said I don't think I'll change the exhaust but we'll see.

To be fair I only changed mine as the price was right - £100 from ebay Smile

The standard can actually sounds ok because you get that never ending turbine spooling up sound - becomes quite addictive and makes it sound like streethawk!

Looks more like the BMW garage near great milton/milton common. Im sure I can see the old 3 pigeons pub in the background.

Onyertriumph is in Aston Clinton, so jump off M25 and blast down the A41 from Hemel direction.
