.
ive seen this item on our local website mc ads....
does this item, REALLY increase bhp in your bike?
did someone tried to install this on their bike?
hope to gets some opinions from our gurus......
here's the description.....
Why spend a leg and an arm on slip-on's? Comparable sound and performance plus keep the Factory Look and have huge savings for other modifications!
Installing this kit will give you about 4-6 hp and 5 lbs of torque.
Pre-Cut for a perfect fit.
Included with our kits is baffle packing material.
Saves you about 2 lbs of total weight compared to the OEM exhaust baffle.
What is a Baffle Kit?
A Race Baffle replaces your OEM Baffle. What this does is increase exhaust airflow, which helps performance and improves sound quality. The sound and performance gains are very similar to expensive slip-on's.

More likely to see a slight increase just by having new baffling in there than anything, and that's only if yours is old. ____________________ My Flickr |

Sounds like they've just put less baffling in there than there was before.
It'll make it louder yes, but it'll introduce huge flat spot(s) into the power curve and drop the peak power by a couple of bhp. I don't think it's the sort of thing you can get around by fuelling mods either.(At least not in my experience) ____________________ My Flickr |

if you want a bike with more BHP.. just save up and buy one.
that baffle makes it sound abit weird too.. its not a bassy sound, its a higher pitch. |
