hey all, my nsr125 flat spot at full throttle

yes it has been upjetted to 42, 65 and 138, does it need a bigger main jet?

Hi

Full throttle at low revs with a slide carb (ie, what is on most 2 strokes) is useless. The engine isn't turning over quickly enough for the carb to work properly.

With the barrel really you need to know how worn it is (if at all, the plating shouldn't wear much) and then find out what piston and rings you need.

yeah i kinda knew it was characteristic of a 2 stroke but it does seem particuluy bad

its almost like it feels like it pulls less when ya open it right up than at half throttle

its has done over 26k or somthing around that.

the cilinder WILL need changing by this time.
