I think they have a gauze in the sump plug, should have a dip stick on the filler cap and David Silver Spares should be able to get most things you need |

1) Yes
2) There is a gauze over the pickup for the oil pump. You need to remove the right hand engine cover and oil pump to get at it (it's attached to the oil pump, a rectangular thing with rubber round the edges). Supposed to be done every 5,000 miles. I garauntee it wont have been, ever, so do it now.
3) Around 1.5 litres (a bit more if the engine's been sat for a long time or recently rebuilt).
EDIT: You WILL need an impact driver or a bit and brace to remove the three oil pump screws if they've never been off before. I have twisted the end of an impact bit in a CB125 oil pump screw before today. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |
