All the kids are breaking up from school for summer round about now, and it made me think of the times we had when I was a kid. Up to about 15 I wasn't working so the summer holidays was 6 weeks of pure doss, and we always seemed to celebrate the last day of term in style. Got any memories of your last day of school antics to share?
Although it might not be as interesting to others as to me, the last day that sticks out most in my mind was year 9. We had an evening of skateboarding, baseball and general foolishness planned for after school, and at chucking out time it absolutely pissed it down! However, it was boiling hot and we didn't think it was going to rain so all the blazers, ties etc were stashed in our bags. We got absolutely drenched and ended up splashing each other and everyone else around us in puddles. We went to a friend's to get changed then proceeded to play baseball, do a bit of skating and perform some ridiculous stunts on the swings in the local park. It was an awesome day. ____________________ H100 Breaking for spares |

On my last day of 5th form the whole day was generally a bit of a riot (comparitively speaking).
At one point we were having pitched battles with waterbombs, and as a rival class turned to flee, our faction persued them, ammo in hand.
About 25 of us legged it round a corner of the building, where the school Discipline Master (yes that was his title) was lying in wait.
He shouted for everybody to stop, which clearly no-one did.
No-one apart from muggins.
Rest of lunch spent at the front of the hall outside the Staff room entrance.
Perhaps it was then that I started to learn complying with the rules does not always pay.... |

Past week I've had to listen to all the neighbours (mum's) moaning about what they're gonna do having to actually look after their kids for 6 weeks Why the hell do people have kids if they don't like them or at least enjoy being with them?
We used to take games in on the last day which even then I thought was dull, as I just wanted to be doing my own thing! Flour bombs from the top floor windows (balloons when younger, then condoms, as we got older and clearly thought that was edgy and funnier ) Year above us stormed the final assembly one year SAS stylee - all suspended when school resumed
I loved school holidays - used to disappear for hours on end exploring on my bike (pedal) and making dens! Trips to the beach, visit my grandparents and get spoiled rotten - those were the days! ____________________ 'The core of a man's spirit comes from new experiences'

I remember the last day of high school. We all signed each others shirts with messages and siggys it was cool. Would love to know where that shirt went to. I dont think we caused riot, most didnt come in for their last day, or week for that matter.
We sat around doing nothing. I did like my high school though, no education but we had fun. My class wasnt allowed to even watch a school play or go on a school trip ,
We made our own formal, school tried to stop it by sending letters to parents but it was a sucess and all the classes in 5th form came and some teachers. I got food poisning and I brought my now boyfrirend darren to it 11 years ago and he had a bread roll right with someone on the other end of the function room.
Useless remisissing there for you. ____________________ All the breast.

Remember summer holidays 4 years ago, me and 2 mates made a tree house but without a roof, bit difficult for 14 year olds to work out how to support a roof, but we had a door we could hide under
Was great fun just chilling out up there for hours, Have an awesome memory of another mate we took up there, lent against a wall, which was carpet nailed between to branches and falling backover out of a 20 foot tree, then rolling down a steep bank.
Then a load of chavvy cunts found it and started going up there and wrecking it, so we started making booby traps like a 5 inch square of wood with nails all the way through it above the hatch, which when opened would rip a piece of string against a nail and drop down. Bit cuntish thinking about it now but hey it worked.
Good times, I think its still there, just a bit wrecked, and probably rotten. ____________________ www.southwestbikers.com

No last day of school would be complete without the gratuitous burning of the school tie and any other artifacts (text books etc) and extinguishing said fire with a ritualistic urination session from everyone. ____________________ CBT February 2008 | A2 June 2008 | Yamaha YBR125 (written off) | Honda CBF125 (current) |

Our last day of sixth form consisted of a superb "Muck Up" day which subsequently was banned...
We had the rear entrance to the school turned into a giant spiders' web (loads of balls of string passed across the entrance between the tennis courts) then lay in wait to take photos of trapped/tangled first years with their big bags and violin cases.
The main entrance was taped off with police incident tape (superbly stolen from a girl's Policeman dad) and a "Police Accident" sign fortuitously found on my way into school on the side of the road (those things are HUGE, it barely fitted in my car!) with a sillouhette of a body outside the main front doors.
For assembly everyone has to take their shoes off, so we moved them all to make footprints and trails all round the building - and laughed at the chaos that followed as 800 girls tried to find their shoes.
Plus lots of posters of various members of staff photoshopped onto different bodies - the PE teacher's head on a body builder mocked up as a poster for a wrestling match due to take place at lunch time etc... (LOADS of people turned up to it too!! )
We all died our shirts pink in honour of one girl in our year who got detention for coming to school with her shirt sporting a slightly pink tinge following an incident with a washing machine and a pair of her little brother's red underpants. That right royally peed off the member of staff who gave her detention
It's such a long time ago I can barely remember, lots of careful planning meant the whole year worked together to create the most havoc in the least distructive way ____________________ Avast! Pirates ahoy!

Last day of 5th form... (actually, I think it was 6th form).
I fingered a 14yo girl under a bridge near the river and then got pissed with everyone else at the castle.
She wouldn't leave me alone for ages. |
