Should I replace all the sprockets and chain?

OK, I bought a Stolen Recovered 2005 Honda CG125 few days ago with 29,566 miles. Last night, I opened up the gearbox sprocket cover and saw this (picture 1). OMFG.

Alright, the question is, Do I need to replace the chain and the rear sprocket as well?
The rear sprocket seemed to have some life left and the chain as well. Well I'm no expert in judging chain life but the gear box sprocket is well fuxked (and abused)

Today, I tried to move the bike using its own engine power, as soon as the clutch is partially engaged, the sprocket already started to slip! the bike didn't even move. LOL!!!

There are still plenty of adjustment on the chain BUT I HAVEN'T COUNTED THE ROLLERS ON THE CHAIN YET.

All three may as well be shagged.

For the price of a decent C+S set you might as well replace the whole lot in one go.

Using a wrecked/worn chain on new sprockets isn't a good idea, and vice-versa.

Front Sprocket- Yes
Rear Sprocket - No
Chain - Possibly (might just need a clean and adjustment or might be too worn)
I'd do the lot if the chain is wrecked.

If you dont want it playing on your mind and it would mine, i would replace all three, better safe than sorry. The rear looks ok but if the chain is screwed and you use it, it may damage the new ones and proove to be false economy.

Rear sprocket isn't too bad, chain is unknown and the front sprocket is scrap. Possible that someone has put a new chain and rear sprocket on but left the front, in which case a new front sprocket alone might be worthwhile (as a front sprocket is dirt cheap). However if the chain isn't that decent then just put a full set on.

to my eyes, the few teeth that i see on that rear sprocket look good. . If they were getting abit pointy/hooked then yeah.

Perchance the reason they never replaced the front sprocket is coz it is a tight as fook.... And they couldnae get the nut off.
Expect a struggle.

I would do the sprocket as long as the chain pitch extension comes up to scratch. If the chain hits the swing arm adjust the rear wheel back to remove play. If there is no adjustment left then the chain may be washed out and need replacment.

The rear sprocket looks well useable though

find a sprocket and chain kit.
wemoto and busters accessories do kits pretty cheap. if you buy a kit usually only an extra couple of quid to replace all three over just a new chain

........and when getting the front cog off is worth seeing if a friendly garage will gun it off. I borrowed a electric nut gun and took mine off straight away where as a BIG breaker bar hadnt budged it.

Although the rear looks in good shape I'd personally go for all 3 just to be on the safe side
