You could clean and fill the pit with some epoxy resin and then smooth down. You would then need to replace the seals and oil. As well as fitting some gaiters over the top to protect the forks from getting worse.
You can also get them replated, not sure on the cost.
I guess front forks are one of them items that don't crop up to often on ebay and most bikes will have front end damage. ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |

iooi's idea worked for me.
I used a file to smooth the pitting off,then use use a needle to pick out all the oil/crud from the pitts then use ideally belzona molecular (araldite also works) to fill the pitts.Rub them down smooth and jobs a good 'un.
The ones i did with araldite are still going strong now about 1 year on  ____________________ DRZ-400sm |
