hey rudirulez -
i got both the kmx an the dtx ... not sure what u mean by the fastest ... my 2 bikes are both 125s but both sooo different to each other ...
the kmx feels more like a 200 around town ... the dt goes like an 80cc till the revs get up high ... then it flies and passes the kmx! ... u really cudnt get 2 more different riding bikes. its all down to how they are "set-up". im sure other bikes cud be "set-up" just like my 2 are. it deoends on your preferred riding style and i like the way my kmx goes more than i do the dt!. ____________________ tinybikes |

I was just merely giving him advice on what in my opinion are the 2 best 125 enduro's that fit the bill for the what he wants, all i said is they are both quick and reliable i said nothing about 'fastest' nor did i say anything about how they were set up.
What things do you prefer about the KMX to the DT, ive only ridden a KMX for a few mins off-road so ive never had the chance to really compare the 2.
And i know what your talking about when you say about the DT is good when the revs are up high, you really do know about it when that power valve opens , you get a nice pull from the engine, does the KMX do the same. |

to me aprilias always look nice - but they dont seem to be quite as reliable as the japanese bikes but am sure they have more character and are possibly faster.
the issue i have with the italian bikes, is that when things do go wrong, sometimes you have to wait ages to get parts (if u need new parts anyway - not from a breaker etc) ... and you can be waiting weeks in the riding season for parts to get your bike back on the road.
theres generally more availability of parts for the japanese bikes ... (there will always be exceptions to this of course) , just talking generally.
even my yamaha dt125x, it had an oil leak from the top of the clutch actuator, it just needed a oil seal, a £2 part. even my local yamaha dealer had to order 1 from yamaha uk. yamaha uk were out of stock and the part had to be ordered from yamaha's main european parts warehouse in holland. luckily they had it, but it still took 2 weeks to get the part!.
so middle of nice sunny summer perfect riding weather ... and my bike was off the road.
but with an italian bike, you cud wait much longer to get parts from the likes of cagiva, aprilia etc etc.
but im sure theyr v nice bikes!. ____________________ tinybikes |
