I was with Carol Nash, but not any more. Far too expensive!!

Carol Nash quoted £145 for renewal Thumbs Down

Devit Quoted £74 for same cover. Thumbs Up

Not exactly rocket science is it! Laughing

I wouldn't recommend them, Carole Nash quoted me £1,500 for my insurance on a Honda C90. When I rejected the quote two heavies came round to my Nan's house and broke her thumbs. This intimidated me to the point that I took out the policy in the end. When I had an accident however, they refused to pay out but sent these same heavies to the hospital and took the £4000 excess from me EVEN though they weren't paying out themselves. Now I've lost all my confidence and can't go outside anymore, my wife and kids have left me, I'm unemployed and I think Carole Nash also gave me cancer.

I also heard that they may have been behind the 9/11 attacks and may have been responsible for Take That reforming.

Anyway, just my experiences, hope this helps Thumbs Up

Naughty spam Tut Tut

However I am actually happy with Carole Nash. May not be as cheap as others but I like having Anybike cover, breakdown cover, european cover etc.

I don't think £190 fully comp with all the above on a group 14 750cc sportsbike is too bad, tbh. *shrug*

In fact, I don't think any of the bargain basement insurers managed to offer me cheaper this time around.

I got a quote from Carole Nash for my zx6 online. The next day Carole himself came round to my house to try and push for the sale, the cheeky French bastard.

Fucking brought mud into the house on his shoes, took one of my bananas without asking then tried to interfere with my dog when I was out of the room. To say that I was outraged would be an understatement.

DO NOT BUY FROM CAROLE NASH.

I think it's odd that a well known company would resort to spamming boards. I also think you've been trolled.

Desperate times and all that...

Chances are "Emma" works in sales and is more likely to be baker-oriented then biker-oriented (i.e. Greggs & pies).

Still, thanks to the Boulder Pledge, "Em" can report back that there is now one more person who will never, under any circumstances, use their company and will actively discourage anyone else from doing so.

Way to go, "Em", you spamming cunt. Thumbs Up

lol just had a read on another forum and they also have a person called 'emmathebiker' and her post was as follows:

"Hi guys

Long time biker, first time poster!

Basically, I'm looking for advice on my bike insurance renewal, which is due in October. I've done a bit of shopping around and getting advice from friends etc, and a name that keeps cropping up is this website, Carole Nash.

Personally I'd not heard of them but some of my friends swear by them, so I just wanted to check the general feeling towards them on here.

Any experiences, good/bad, whatever, let me know!"

Strange coincidence isnt it Rolling Eyes

Well Emma the biker, either you do work for Carole Nash and have just damaged their business, in which case this was a complete failure of an idea...

...or you work for another company and are successfully tarnishing the name of a competitor Thinking

I love carole nash, the clueless morons that worked there entered all my details wrong and I ended up getting nearly half price insurance, Cool. They recorded the call listened to it realised I had said nothing like what went on to the form and had to ammend it.

I've been a customer of Carol Nash for years. They used to be a great insurance company with service that you would get from a family business.
Since they were taken over they have become greedy bastards with expensive premiums and ludicrous admin charges if you change your address or your bike.
When my insurance is due soon they wont ever be getting business from me again.

Bored, so emailed CN press office to see what there take on this is.

Will an insurance company own up to telling lies to attract business?

Will an insurance company have the decency to post and apologise?

I linked them to this, so if no apology and explanation is forthcoming, then as far as I am concerned CNash and all associated companies will not be quoting on any of my future policies.
