For a while now since i had last took my bike into the garage the indicators have not been working so today i took the body work off to locate the fuse box to find the lid not closed down so i think water may have corrided it or something.

Anyway it is the blue fuse which is knackered if i replaced it would this sort the indicators out? Also what is the size of the blue fuse? And were can i buy a replacement?

Thanks

Pretty sure a blue is a 15A fuse. It should be written on it anyway. If the fuse has blown, that will be stopping your indicators from working, but something made it blow, so its going to keep happening untill you find the real problem. If it's not blown then corrosion might be the cause. Scrape the crap off everything and replace the fuse.

Do the indicators come on but not flash or not come on at all?

Do none of the indicators work at all?

Provided you have all the fuses in place, not blown and contacting properly it can only be the relay. You should hear a ticking when the indicators are on. If you dont chances are there isn't a relay, it isn't plugged in, or its fucked.

On the day i got the bike back the indicators worked and i could hear the clicking.

The next day i started the bike up to go to work and none of the indicators worked and the clicking sound had disappeared.

sounds like a loose wire. I assume its both sides not working?

Do the other butons on the same switch work?

Can you hear a buzzing or clicking when you try the indicators

Do the rest of your lights work?

both sides dont work.
The other buttons work on that side.
There is no clicking or buzzing anymore.
The rest of the lights work fine.

Might be a shitty cheap relay. I had one that lasted for a single flash last month. Might be a loose wire or something shorting blowing the relay. It's really hard to fault find without a multimeter and a bit of expirence.

Check all connections including the earth as any bad connection may stop just enough current getting through to make them work.
