Where is the need for this? Cannabis is criminalised, people find a way around it so the gubmint move the goalposts the criminalise something else.

I think it's more because they aren't sure what effects the chemicals used in it would have on the body(at least that's what I gleened from the beeb).

Perhaps you're better off with pot as at least you know what it's effects are.

I've never bought a "legal high". I've bought several plant growth suppliments which were sold singly in brightly coloured capsules though.

If they're not sure, then how can they say it's dangerous?

Drinking petrol/bleach/battery acid will have a harmful effect on the body, don't see the fools 'cracking down' on the sale of them...

I feel sorry for anybody who tries a legal high. You'd be better off banning those idiots from existing.

Same here, never bought a legal high before. In my youth I did purchase a little glass bottle of 'room odouriser' though.

It's safer to ban something now than wait 20 years to see what effects it has only to find everyone mentally fucked and be footed with a £20 billion health fund deficit created from having to look after the druggy bastards.

Be a pretty boring world without people who get high! Some of the worlds most influential/best artists/musicians liked to get high every now and then.

You have no idea....

So everyone who smokes the odd joint is a druggie Laughing. I'm not looking for approval, just looking to educate some ignorant people who consider all people who use drugs druggies, idiots or whatever you want to call them! A druggie is someone who lets drugs take control of their life, unbelievably to you some people can actually use drugs and not be a druggie, just like people can get pissed and not be an alcoholic. Saying that judging by you comments you have lived a fairly sheltered life so far and don't socialize with many people if you call someone who smokes the odd joint a druggie.......

My "attitude" is that if you are going to spend a shed load on cannabis alternatives for example you are a fecking tool anyway, if you are so inclined to take drugs you might as well do it properly.

I thought you may have meant that! But did jump the the conclusion that you meant all drugs as well as the legal highs which you stated. Embarassed
