Naff Modifications

I thought anodised stuff was bad..

Browing YouTube, I came across this. Why would anyone look at that and think "Yeah, that's what my bike's missing, an exhaust that looks like a gun."

So let's see it, what's the naffest modification you've ever seen? (Pictures prefered)

I've seen the tailgunner zorst on a custom this year at Bulldog, it actually looked really good.

On a sports bike though, they are shit.

Worse mods are clearly the red screens, they look awful.

Saw one of those on a episode of American Chopper ages ago. As said above - looks better on custom/chopper type thing. Looks crap on anything else.

Carbon Replacement - where it's going to make no discernible difference to the ride and the money could have been spent on a lot more fun things.

Infact, any modification that isn't there to be 'useful' - so 99% off all such things done. And, yes, I am guilty of doing/wanting various things for purely tart factor myself too.

yeah i was just saying in general about tuning though i know guys who tuned up like busa's and stuff and they now touch just under 280-290 rather than the stock limited 186 i think they are restricted to

- I'll think you'll find that goes a little beyond 'tuning', unless they've just tuned the speedo .
To get those speeds, I presume they've got an enclosed stream lined design - as I believe the top 'open wheel' motorcycle world record is 265mph. I'd expect that record-bike was making around 500hp or a bit more, as well as some aerodynamic improvements. On motorbikes you start to need massively more power for every extra 1mph faster at these kinds of speeds.

oh yeah far beyond it but the world speed record is by a busa on the salt flats at 316 mph i think that was some rocket

haha looks funny looks like the front of a10 warhog lol why would you have it as a mod i would expect it from typical scoota chav riders but not from someone with a propper bike

worst i have seen mod in general is when people get shit cars and stick massive spoilers on them and nothing else wtf

but for bikes it was a guy i knew who had a bandit 6 and stuck stickers of women over it like the ones u'd get out of a copy of max power etc as a freebie
