basically, next wednesday im riding the back roads with my mates to bournmouth (back roads because were on 50's) its about 100 miles, was just wondering how long to run them for between breaks etc, dont fancy my engine blowing up on the way there or back lol. and how long breaks too have to let them cool down. my bikes a derbi senda 50.

They will run forever provided they have all the fuel & oil they need and the cooling system is running correctly.

Make sure you have plenty of oil in things, and check you temp guage works and your good to go.

Agreed. If it hasn't been fucked with and is ridden within the normal rev range, a water-cooled bike ought to maintain a normal working temperature better on a sustained long run than stop-starting in town.

Give em a good look-over, check stuff like footrest hangers, exhaust mount bolts for looseness. Get some basic tools together, spanners pliers allen keys & a couple of screwdrivers etc. All chip-in for a can of chain lube, a bottle of 2-stroke and a tin of tyre slime and you'll be fine.
