Agreed. If it hasn't been fucked with and is ridden within the normal rev range, a water-cooled bike ought to maintain a normal working temperature better on a sustained long run than stop-starting in town. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. Give em a good look-over, check stuff like footrest hangers, exhaust mount bolts for looseness. Get some basic tools together, spanners pliers allen keys & a couple of screwdrivers etc. All chip-in for a can of chain lube, a bottle of 2-stroke and a tin of tyre slime and you'll be fine. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
