Hey, I thought that this might be of interest to some of you.

I have recently got a Suzuki GP 125 '1983' and its in perfect working order. When i got it it had just over 9000 miles on the clock and only a few dents and tiny patches of rust.

I have a Haynes manual for the bike. If you want it then PM me.

Youve got one of the poofy ones with a disc brake. The proper ones had atrocious drum brakes.

Sit back and they wheelie very well! Very Happy

Where is this small piece of plastic located? in the carb?

haha i know about the wheelie :]
And thanks for the offer anout the manual, but i have a manual already. I think the GP with both drum breaks was called GP 125U?
lol thats in the manual too.

hmmmm rather have the one i have, i think :p

I seem to remember it's a plastic ring/collar that fits just under the cap that holds the spring (19) down in this piccy, so that the slide (21) doesn't open fully. I wouldn't be surprised that it's already been removed, though Smile

I had a GP100 when I was 17 for a few months...it would wheelie and top out at an indicated 82mph....haha...drums for me though...

Probably already removed then. Very sweet bike, takes me back to my youth. Now get out there and terrorise some restricted RS125's Laughing
