At least as an advert you get what you ask for.

Mr Everready sold his pretty quickly I think.

I tend to ignore the classified ad items to be honest. Force of habit.

tbh most classified adds i do look at but generally are a higher price than i would like to pay.
But i do reckon your better off with an auction.

Seriously, it's a flipping great idea. I've sold five cars and bikes as classified ads, all sold within a week, my CG in a day, and I got a tenner refund on the £12.99 listing fee.

Selling all of them cost me just £2.99 each!!!

Your choice, but it works pretty damn well for me! Wink

Just to add, you can still add a 'Best Offer' option for free with settings to automatically accept or refuse offers over or under a limit you set.

Till someone looks at it and likes the deal offered.....

There is no magic formula.

You have to be seling what someone wants, at a price they want to pay. Thumbs Up

The more competitively you price your bike, the quicker it will sell via a classified advert. You need to make it look better, cheaper and more value for money than all of the other similar bikes on there. Thumbs Up

When I sold the 'Four it I used ebay classified ads over autotrader and found that the people that contacted me were much less serious.

If again I would probably use autotrader Thumbs Up

Good luck with the sale though Thumbs Up
