Hi all, new around here so wondering if there's anyone out there that can help me?

I have a ZXR750J1 and i'm looking for a replacement rear shock. I have spotted a few new items in the usual places but ideally i'm after a 2nd hand unit that i can have setup if neccesary. ( I have a contact that can rebuild free of charge if neccesary).

Are there any other models of bikes that rear shock will slot straight in? I hear Gsxr1000K2 shocks fit but with slight modifications but i dont really want to be messing around with that.

Thanks for your help

Rich

Rich,

A J K L or M rear shock will go straight in, as will one from a ZX9 B1 to B4 model (94-97).

The GSXR k1-k3 goes in as you mention, you need to drill the mount holes on the shock out from 10 to 12mm. Also, its slightly shorter than the ZXR shock so you need to wind the top adjuster out a little to keep the same ride height.

Thumbs Up
