Just posted a letter from the daughter to her new boyfriend.

Now they txt, talk via phone for hours (via orange magic number), facebook, MSN, etc. yet she still wrote a letter Shocked

Is this a dying art or do others feel the need to use this original form of communication?

Doubt it as they've arranged to get together this week.
As dumping goes letters are nice and impersonal.
Second I suppose would be leaving the message on answer machine.
Although dumping, ways and means, is a whole new topic/ballgame Very Happy

I like writing letters and have a friend in the forces and send him a letter every week when he's away. He still prefers a proper letter to the e-bluey!

The other thing is writing postcards! Nothing better than getting a postcard from someone having a good holiday and telling you all about it..........or someone with a good sense of humour telling you how awful it is! Not the same as a text.

I like nice handwriting and hate text speak, so I may be biased.......and old!! Rolling Eyes
