Whilst out for our morning walk, my dog suddenly darted off and started to roll in a patch of grass. He will (thankfully) only very occasionally roll in turds etc, but i was still quick to put a stop to it.

There wasn't any shit where he'd rolled, so i thought i'd got away lightly, but since having got him home - Jesus H fucking Christ, he absolutely stinks and it's a horrible, sickly sweet rancid stench too.
I've bathed him, sprayed airfreshner and opened all the windows, and i'm still catching the odd gag-inducing whiff of it.

Occasionally, deer go through the fields where i walk, so i can only assume that, with the rutting season approaching, my dog has rolled in the love-paste of a horny young buck.
Whatever it is, it's fucking rotten.

Had 10, 8 week old pups in my backyard today and they found one of the adult dogs old piece of liver in the compost heap. Must be well over a week old.
I had to grab it off them and took forever to scrub the smell off my hands.

At least I hope that's what it was. My cat died 2 weeks ago and is buried up there too

Its a dog thing....
I was walking my dog on the beach a few winters ago, when he started rolling on his back in something about 50 yards away. When i got to him to see what he was up to, i saw he was rolling in a huge dead cod that was well past the initial stages of decomposing.
I had to drive the 15 miles back home with all the windows open in the middle of fukkin december, the stench was that bad.
