hi guys ive had to take my entire engine apart including the crankcase and its been apart for about a week.

what im after is is there anything i should do before trying to start it ie. 2 stroke oil down the spark plug hole a dry run with the kill switch on the get things moving before starting.

all i have replaced is a bush on one of the gears and a shifter fork everything else is the same parts as before. Also will it need a run in period as its been apart to allow everything to seat properly or will it just be good to go?

cheers in advance - rob

make sure your 2 stroke oil pump is primed,
other than filling your gearbox back up,
she should be good to go,

yeah essentially, make sure that the oil line(s) that feeds the engine are filled with oil,
you wouldnt want it run with no oil, that would be bad,
if you are particuly worried, run a couple of litres in the tank on premix untill the pump forces all the oil through
