If so, when's the best time to buy. It's an idea I'm toying with. I suspect an enduro bike would be better, but are the prices affected as much by summer/winter as road bikes? ____________________ My Flickr |

I think off road bikes usually go up in value towards/during winter as thats when a lot of road bikers turn to off roaders for commuting or green lane fun whilst the ducati's on paddock stands in the heated garage... ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |

From watching prices recently, prices for this type of bike has risen by a huge amount, long gone are the days when you could pick up a tidy xr 250 under a grand unless you get very lucky.
Have you seen the amount of bidders for machines like this
63 for a old xr 400 , price sold "£1230. 00 and it was NOT nice
The word has got out, off roading/ green laning has amassed a huge following of late, most of the riders in our club simply got pissed off with the busy roads// speed traps etc etc, before falling in love with the "dirty" side , its a bit more than addictive |
