...of police encounters.

pulling away from the lights i pop myself up so i can get a good view of the sky, and pootle along for a bit, then set it down.

about a mile later, an oncoming marked car does a pretty dangerous u turn in the road, and follows me closely.

by this point i'd pretty much forgotton about the whole traffic lights, and rode sensibly etc until i got the lights treatment.

guy gets out of the car, doesnt say a word when i said ''hi'', and just stood there. bit rude.

then an unmarked car pulls up and 2 officers get out. thats when i sort of think im a little in the shit... then the marked car guy fucks off.

so they tell me why i was stopped, as always when in this situation, im truthful and honest, and admit im in the wrong, then i get the ''right to remain silent, anything i do say may be given in evidence'' etc speech, followed by a ''do you have anything to say?''.

to which i said no.

anyway, being a lovely polite young gentleman, i ''pass the attitude test'' according to them, and am told im going to be ''let off with just a section 59''

...another section 59...

so the shitting myself increases a bit. i dont really want a seized bike.

so i explain i've already got one of them thanks, but its a generous offer. and i explain that my last one was for the same thing.

so now im taken into the back of the car while they make a decision.

and a very good decision at that... nothing at all. apparantly because i have a job, am a ''decent guy'' and ''not a scrote'', i deserve to keep my CLEAN LICENCE Laughing

it was a male and female officer, so they must have been fucking moments before or something.

so yeah... im still untouchable.

queers x

EDIT: the male police guy was a knob. he claimed to be a ''fellow biker'', and when asked what bike he had, he replied with ''a big one''.

that ''big one'' turned out to be a GSXR 600 Laughing tit. he also went a bit quiet when i said i've owned one, and an R6, and have a ninja, then told me no one likes a liar till i showed him pictures.

Unmarked coppers following bikers should be made illegal in my opinion.
In my case i`m always weary of cars that have been behind me for quite a while and consider them to be potential bike thieves....so a lot of the time i start riding faster and doing lots of overtakes in an attempt to lose them.
if it was an unmarked copper i`d get a pull for speeding/reckless but how was i to know?
If they wanted to see if i was legit they should`ve just put the blues and twos on straight away instead of tailing me for 2-3 miles..
Exclamation
