Hi All
I'm fed up with paying garage prices for both tires and the fitting of them so would like to buy myself a tire fitter.
I have been looking at these types....
https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Sealey-TC960-Manual-Tyre-Changer-with-Steel-Bar_W0QQitemZ370218487066QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_3?hash=item5632bdcd1a&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
or....

Does anyone have experience with either of the above?
the second seems like a better design to me, but any opinions would be appreciated.
I'm kind of scared about scratching my rims as well so tips would be handy
Cheers!

How many sets a year do you have to change ?
As you will have to make one hell of a saving to make the 2nd one pay.
Can't see where you live, but having looked at online prices, i can get a pair of tyres for my bike fitted at a local shop for only a few £ more than the online price. ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |

not many but it is being split between me and a mate.
I now have 3 bikes and he has one.
What brought this on was getting my tyres done last month at getbike in ealing.
got mugged for almost £300!!!!
pair of bt021's and 1.5hrs of slow labour.
I know I could have got it cheaper elsewhere but it was the day before my euro trip so was kind of in a rush.
it will pay for itself in about 4 changes. plus it's more fun (assuming you dont damage your wheel ) ____________________ Current - Hornet 600, Transalp 650, X140 Pit, GPZ400R
