I think it looks damn cool and i know a bloke that would fabricate me some really trick stainless pipes for it.
Totally impractical for riding to my rallies in Belgium so it would have to be a second bike.

I think it looks gash. As a hardened Kawasaki fan I find this bike ridiculous. It looks like an overgrown ER6 (which is a fine looking bike and by all accounts a decent motorcycle), but in it's class the CB1000R and Triumph 1050 win out on looks alone, never mind how it rides.

The original Z1000 is a bike that I know I will own (once I get the naked bug), the revised one showed Kawasaki's move away from good looking motorcycles, but this one is fugly.

Boo Kawasaki Thumbs Down .

I like it, but they should've binned the exhausts.. would suit a Buell style exhaust, with it flattened out to fit under the engine and finish level with the swingarm bolt

it probably has the most fairing panels i've seen on a factory 'naked' bike too Smile

yeah but just about every sports bike has some dodgy can or another at stock anyway and everyone changes them after they get them home

yeah plastic is far to expensive these days when you drop or smash your bike up with fairings

It looks like the Transformers artists did the design work.

And that was a particularly wanky voiceover on the video.

Loved the vid! Reminded me of the Yakuza sports bike riding thugs in Black Rain, from the scene's of dark smokey buildings and multi storey car parks in down town Tokyo etc! Laughing

Shame about the looks of the current Z though! Sad
The first one was a really cool bike, and it's something i've always considered owning for my next big bike. I won't be buying this one though, id rarther save for another 5years to get an MV Brutale, or else buy a really tidy Hornet 900 and trick it out with a Late Blade front end and lots of tuning bits etc!

I love the rough feel, the sound and the soul of fast IL4 Kawasaki's,
But i hate to say that Id be looking at a Speed triple, TNT, or even a Yamaha FZ1 long before buying a 2010 Z thou!

Looking at the first picture, the exhaust looks like another new bike with Dragonzord's shoulder stuck on. The rest of the bike looks OK I guess.

Then I watched the video. Those clocks are shit hot! The exhausts look a bit better and on both sides, which I prefer. However to be properly cool it should have the massive cans of a ZZR 1100.

"A seductive intake howl" Laughing. I'd say it's a cross between Dale Winton and Brian Butterfield.
