Hi, if you're bigger and want a bigger 125, consider something like a Varadero or maybe a cruiser like a Dragstar or Shadow. ____________________ Previous: 2002 Honda CB500 (sold), 2007 Suzuki SV650SK6 (crashed), 2005 Yamaha FZ6 Fazer (sold). Currently bikeless

Yeah, the laid back position is very much a matter of taste. It's fun for a while but I don't know if I could live with it, plus I was scraping the crap out of the pegs on every corner. ____________________ Previous: 2002 Honda CB500 (sold), 2007 Suzuki SV650SK6 (crashed), 2005 Yamaha FZ6 Fazer (sold). Hi and welcome!
Remember to bear in mind that you're not restricted by engine size but rather power. If you were to find a 250cc for yourself and then restrict the power back down to 11BPH you'd find you would probably have better acceleration and that most of the power would be lost on the top end.
If you are using a 125 you might want to check things like tire pressures as well, 125's aren't fantastic with weight. I'm about 11 stone and sometimes just an extra stone seems to change the performance of my bike. ____________________ will never give up his CG. I look at my fuel gauge more as a progress bar than a fuel gauge.
G: With my GSXR I do often effectively use it as a scooter with a clutch in town.
ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston? |
