Damned fuel natzi's on an asda forecourt...

I have written to the store manager regarding his discrimination policy...

they point blank refused to switch the pump on without me taking my lid off, so off came the lid and fuelled up and back on with the lid to drive to kiosks and lid off again to claim discrimination(with a big cheesy grin to add Very Happy )I basically said to her If I was a fully veiled muslim woman she wouldn't say nothin.... she got right shirty Shocked and threatened me with her husband after I said she was implementing this discrimination policy on behalf of asda. So i also asked her about the cameras, that they've got my registration.... but she was on one by then. threatened me with security. Just paid up and drove off laffin..

So what do you think, vouchers.. Laughing

Asda customer service manager wrote:
Dear Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms/Rev. Paddlesat16,

I'm writing to you in response to your communique of the 28th of this month, in which you alleged you had been discriminated against because of your visible membership of the motorcycling community.

As you will know, Asda take such matters extremely seriously, and on receipt of your [s]gibbering, whining rant[/s] letter I immediately instigated a full investigation. I have now concluded this, and attach my findings below:

Arrow The assistant categorically states that she did not discriminate against you because of your visible membership of the motorcycling community.

Arrow The assistant admits that she did discriminate against you for your visible membership of the Tedious Twat community

Arrow The counter assistant further admits that when you trotted out the hoary old chestnut 'You wouldn't do it to a Muslim woman......blah blah whinge whinge' she had no choice but to give you both (verbal) barrels.

Due to the boring 'oh no, not this moaning shit again' nature of your complaint, I regret to inform you that I will not be progressing it any further - especially as you rode off 'laffing', which suggests you enjoyed a positive experience as a result of our excellent customer service policies.

On a similar note - it's been requested I inform you that BCF sees an average of 3 'rants' about petrol station helmet policies a month - it's all been said before, so please STFU.

Sir, I remain........

Do you take your helmet off?

I was refused fuel because i didn't take my helmet off

I didn't take my helmet off (Pt I &Pt II) then with added Poll.

Would you of taken your Helmet off?

My Helmet fell off, can i still get fuel?

The cashier was wearing a Helmet, i couldn't get fuel.

There was fuel in my Helmet.

This has to be the 500th thread about this.

Just drop the nozzle on the floor and ride off. It will cost them £50 to get the details off the dvla of your vehicle so it is not worth pursuing for them unless you attack someone or steal over £50 worth of petrol

Honestly why does anyone care this much? I wouldnt go into a corner shop wearing something that covered my whole face so why should you be allowed to for petrol.

Taking off and putting back on your helmet takes 10 seconds max, sure you have more exciting things in your life that annoy you? Confused

Next time you get asked.

Ask if they make the security guard who collects the cash to take his/her helmet off.
They are bound to say No.....

You can then say.

So you just let them walk in & out with your £££, but you won't let me pay for my fuel.......

Watch them stumble for a answer then.... Laughing

No doubt they'll gawp in awe at your incredible wit!

Seriously - it's their petrol, you want it, you gotta jump through their hoops or vote with your wallet and go elsewhere. Seriously, it's not that fucking difficult!

You don't automatically have the right to be self-righteous pricks to people who don't set company policy anyway!

I hate being stuck in a queue behind someone who starts complaining like some of you have here.

[/self-righteous prick mode]

Until you add taking off gloves, balancing gloves on lap, take off helmet, drop gloves, retrieve gloves, stick gloves in helmet place helmet either on filthy pump or balance precariously on bike, pick up helmet and go pay return to bike and reverse above procedure.

The easy option is to leave on and go to a garage who don't care or who have pay @ pump installed.

Sometimes I don't think some of us realise how intimidating it can be for shopkeepers.

I get refused regularly by the ignorant cash assistant who doesn't even check to enable the pump. Generally, by bashing the metal nozzle against the side of the petrol stand, she wakes up Wink

My regular petrol stations are okay with me wearing a helmet. I wondered whether flipping the lid of a flip-top would suffice, but as you've found, it just takes one jobsworth. Well unfortunately for him, there was nothing about taking gloves off. I literally held up the queue for 2 1/2 minutes trying to undo my helmet clasp with my gloves on. The guy had already rung in the amount on the till, so he couldn't serve anyone else. Woman behind me just got annoyed. Vilified and hated. But that's okay. If she had a trolley, I'm sure she would have tried to jam it into the back of my heels.

If your after easy buy a car. Gloves take about 5 seconds to take off and hold them under your arm and just balance helmet on your head, who gives a fuck if it looks chav/stupid
