Just joined up, So i'd thought I would show the bike off
I picked it up over 2 months ago from a local dealer. Was about the best that I had looked at so i jumped at it.
Plans are
Re-paint wheels. Currently deciding between black or the origional red.
Tail tidy and undertray (Already ordered)
End can of some description.
Get out and enjoy riding the thing!
Heres a couple of pictures from the dealers website, Ill get a couple more tomorrow after a good scrub.

Kind of neglected it for a bit because of work and buying a new car.
A couple of new bits arrived, A sock for the front brake fluid pot and the correct rear light clip.
https://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/8865/Photo104.jpg
Had to get a new clip as I didn't realise that the ZX9 was slightly smaller at the back end, and thought that they were the same size (As they look the same). Here is a pic showing the difference.
Grey = ZX9 Rear light clip
Yellow = ZX6 Rear light clip

Will be painting and fitting it on saturday, Got an aerosol with the colour the other day from a local paint supplier (Autopaints), Got it matched off the bike itself so i am hoping it has been mixed correctly. |

I had one in the same colours and miss mine now. Best all round bike I've ever ridden.
I had black wheels and it looked mint.
Also consider getting some pazzo (or similar) levers. I know people think theyre for tart value but they make a big difference, and fluch the brakes through and/or get braided lines. Do that before any other tarty mods!
Fit some Michelins for all round use then your laughing! |

Good stuff - some similar mods to mine, although mine is made of superior green
How do you find the ride - pretty harsh?? Mine has had a shock rebuilt and resprung with a K tech spring for a rider of around 14-15stone. Im around 11.5 so Ive a standard unit on its way to hopefully soften things up a tad.
Dont go too crazy with the tart bits - bike doesnt suit too much bolt on bits n pieces imo.
I would highly recommend uprgrading to goodridge hoses as the standard lines bulge like crazy. Changed mine recently gave a massive improvement.
As for your tyres, I will yet again bang on about how quality Conti sport attacks are, give em a try you wont be dissapointed. Go for 70 profile on front.
Keep the pics coming |

In all honesty, thats it for the tarty bits, Want to keep it as subtle as possable.
Still looking at tyres but was told to look at what people say about the profiles, Also i find the ride ok, But i think the suspension needs setting up on the bike.
Stevo as b4 Let us know a price there on my to do list |

Get some crash bungs on them before it's too late. Kawasaki's don't crash well as I've found out... twice!
Mods are tasteful but keep an eye on the brake calipers and make sure you keep them clean. They rack up miles well too. ____________________ The Tot 2007 Yamaha R1 4C8 2002 Yamaha FZS1000 Fazer &

I have loads of deep scratches on the swingarm of mine thanks to a tyre fitting shop
Defo get the suspension setup for your weight! Did mine yesterday and its made the world of difference!( after owning the bike a year )......main difference was raising the rear ride height adjuster by 8mm, tips in niiiice ____________________ Suzuki GT250 x7------- Fazer 600------CB250RS------Aprilia Rally 70----- Bandit 600
