Hello and welcome
I still ride through winter myself, whenever my job will allow it ( have a company van ). Just wrap up warm, take a bit more care, and it is still pleasurable.
I lost all interest in cars when I started to ride. A great example of this is I got myself a new car about three months ago and the first time I have driven it was last night and that was only because I had to pick a kitten up. Hated every second of it, I felt cramped and restricted and almost claustrophobic. ____________________ And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

hi and welcome
I've recently passed my CBT and I take my bike pretty much everywhere.
I plan to ride through the winter season come rain or shine but as soon as the snow and ice come out to play, I am going to take the car. ____________________ on the look out for my next bike....
CBT Passed - 13/09/09 Theroy Passed - 19/12/09 Mod 1 Passed 04/05/10 Mod 2 Passed 14/05/10 - Free to ride ANYTHING!

I ride in winter (still on a 125 at the moment, will have a bigger bike come the summer) as I have to commute to and from uni, and doing that in a car takes hours!
What bike are you planning on getting? Good luck with the cbt. |

I bike in the winter all year around. Layers, that's the only key. It's all too easy to overheat truth be told.
And welcome! ____________________ will never give up his CG. I look at my fuel gauge more as a progress bar than a fuel gauge.
G: With my GSXR I do often effectively use it as a scooter with a clutch in town.
ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston? |
