That's got to get the worst MPG ever. Wonder what fuel it runs on and how far a tank gets it Shocked

ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston?

crazy bike, and he has a crazy ebay pricing strategy. He doesnt like people bidding in the last minute and getting it for a low price, so he is increasing his price over time, even though there are no bids, as an incentive for people to bid early. Hasnt worked so far, as no one has bid yet Smile

You say that, but did you ever see an old style C50/70/90 new? They always seemed to just appear out of nowhere with a tatty seat, rust round the back mudguard and about 30,000 miles on the clock, with the obligatory oil leak Razz

Can't believe that the infamous MTT Y2k hasn't been mentioned in this thread yet. According to Wikipedia you can even run it on Diesel Shocked . Also street legal.

You can forget going 140 on a crummy '80s chassis design and keeping your underpants clean, especially when it doesn't have the original engine in it. On mine you are clinging on for dear life at 120, imagine what this is like!

Diesel is a bit of an extravagance, turbines normally run on paraffin.

They do? All the ones I've worked with have either run on Jet A1 (a very clean disel with anti icing additives) or Avtur. Kerosene can be used but for obvious reasons it must be very very clean. Diesel could be used too. As Avtur can be used in diesel cars.. not saying I'd ever use it.. Wink

Never used paraffin in one, dont think the model flying guys use it either..

This bike had just got to be so aerodynamically unstable though. I would not want to go at speed on this thing.

Look at one of the questions:

" how long does it take to barbecue a whole pig, not one side the whole thing I was thinking it would save em time when camping with my motorcycle friends as they are always moaning about my cooking many thanks russell England"

Very Happy

I don't think it would be unstable, just very unpleasant.

It looks like crap and I wouldn't buy a bike off that seller, he seems like a total arsehole from his replies!
