You could try here: PDF Database which lists a service manual for download, I can't say what it's like as the linked sites want you to login, and as I don't need to I didn't but it might be of some use.
If in doubt change your oil every 3,000 miles and oil filter and plugs every 6,000.
EDIT: Just got home and checked BIKE Oct '06 which lists the service schedule as 2,500 miles minor/major, so that's oil every 2,500 miles and oil filter and plugs every 5,000 miles. ____________________ My claim to fame: Austin Vince nicked my pen...
