Having a conversation with my son the other day about Doctor Who and I was trying to explain that the doctor I liked the most was the one from my childhood Peter Davison but who was yours?

John Pertwee. With Sarah Jane Smith as his assistant.

Peter Davison for me too, back when Dr Who was worth watching, unlike the Americanised rubbish it has become these days.

Cheers

Peter Davidson for me. While his acting wasn't the best of the lot I do believe he was the most rounded. He managed quirky, pleasant and young while still conveying an underlying darkness and timelessness.

My worst would have to be Paul Mcgann, it was an absolute travesty that the film was ever made.

David Tennant is pretty good though and it will be a shame when he leaves.

Apon not seeing half of these Doctors due to my age I only have the real choice of the last 2. But I think Christopher Ecclestone did a better job than David Tenant.

Thumbs Up

Tom Baker definately the best.

Unusually I watched TV the other day and started watching Doctor Who which I normally wouldn't give the time of day.
I was pleasantly surprised to find it quite entertaining with good twists in the tale.

Time to run the Jolly Roger of pedantry up the yardarm methinks......

Your title is nonsensical:

Who is Who is who is?

Perhaps you meant 'Whose Who is whose'?

If that's the case, it's probably the current bloke.

Patrick Troughton. Such a shame so few of his Who eps survive now.

Did love the Pertwee era, too, though. Jo Grant. Sarah Jane. The Brig. Sgt Benton. The Master. Mostly earth-bound stories. Magic Very Happy

I've liked all the doctors except the first one.

What about Peter Cushing? Does he count? Has anyone even heard of him?

I remember quite enjoying the two films as a kid, seemed a lot more solidly put together than the series. Thumbs Up

If not, Jon Pertwee by a mile.

I did add Peter Cushing cos he did Doctor And The Daleks and Invasion Earth 2150 but for some reaason it wouldn't let me put it in the poll, to be fair I could have added a few others but decided against it as the list would go on to about 50 people so I stuck with the 'official Doctor Who's of the BBC series.
