Sick

Horrible tasteless shite that looks about 10% as good as the standard bike. Covered in Chrome which is one of the most tacky, impractical and useless finishes you can possibly get.

I want to know who these braindead idiots are who do things like that to a superbike rather than keeping it tidy and enjoying it for what it does.

It's usually a trait associated with 'busa owners.

Only in America.

Well, looking at it now, when i'm not fucked out my mind on painkillers, i can safely say that it's a bit too much.

Maybe without the chrome and mirror finishes, and with powdercoating, it would look ok...

But i'd prefer it if the colours were red and black.

Chrome belongs on bikes made in the '70s, not on R1s.

The chicken strip looks to be less than 1cm Confused

It would be alright without the chrome.

I am with Chris, I like the colours and extras, but not the chrome, that's for Harleys not R1s.

If you want to see how to ruin an R1, go on the R1 forum, it's american based and they seem to ruin a lot of them on there, with extended swing arms, chromed this, chromed that. jacked up rears NOS. The list seems endless.

I really don't like the look of this bike. I really like the look of naked bikes though. I love my CG but generally think that the more practical a bike or the design of a bike looks the better it is. If a bike needs fairings so be it, but they do not need extra metal or stupid colours. I don't even mind advertising and stickers because that's necessary on real racing bikes to have sponsorship etc.

I don't like most cruisers because of random extra stuff bolted on to the bike just because it fits in with a certain style too. If some people want to sit back lower down that's fine, just don't make a bike as annoying to look at and heavy as possible for the sake of it.

This R1 is what I would call the opposite of style.

ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston?
