I've done 190 miles yesterday. Really comfortable bike. Engine brake-in below 4000rpm is necessary till 600 miles and I can't rev it now. Wind protection was better than expected.
I couldn't run below 2500rpm at 6th gear, and I must be careful when I make U-turn.

You can get reflective tape that looks quite black in daylight/normal light, but reflects white when lights are shone on it at night.
You can see it here on my helmet:
https://www.bikechatforums.com/download.php?id=69495

Helmet is a medium-grey helmet.

Source pictures showing reflective tape on the bike too:

Thanks for your info! I'm going to check the same type tape Thumbs Up
And now I feel large size tape looks much better for visibility.

This is the type of tape I used, it's quite expensive:

To get it to run well below 2.5k you need to disconnect the actuator in the airbox it is for emissions and is a PITA but easy to sort out.

Get set of cans too make it sound far better and there is less engine breaking too.

Some usefull guides can be found here

https://jbx9.free.fr/tdm/index.php

If your climates is cold the DL650 handguards are a must. Only £35 and about 30 minutes to fit (If you know someone with access to a lathe.)

Does it smell new?
Looks like the kind of bike thats a jack of all trades and a master of none. Which is what most people would like, but not often choose.
Like G, i'd scrap the lumini dots and get some radical black reflective shapes on.

Nice bike.

Not as ugly as they seem in all the pictures I`ve seen.

Might have to have a good snoop around one for my next bike. Smile

I made a solo touring one. Yesterday I went to Izu, stayed at resort hotel and came back today. There are some nice skylines there.
