This is true. Although they don't normally encourage their congregation to molest choirboys. Or they didn't the last time I went to church, many a long year ago |

Q) What do Priests pass around when they have finished their evening meal?
A) Under Eights.
BOOM, BOOM!
I know, I'm going straight to hell when I die. |
Lmao Brilliant!
All joking aside, the church is just one big fucking hyprocrisy, making people feel guilty for having enough money to get by, telling them they will burn in hell for eternity if they don't help out the poor (regardless of whether they are poor by choice or not), yet have you ever stepped into a catholic church? Fucking gold everywhere! Expensive stone statues, christ I remember in my moms methodist church they bought a new wooden cross and it cost over £5000..... for two fucking planks of wood stuck together!? and it looked shit! They are absolutely swimming in cash, so maybe they should set an example by firstly getting their fucking paper out their pockets and funding some cunts drug habit so the taxpayers money doesn't have to.
Merry fucking christmas.

As valiant as it is to see the guy trying to provide for his kids through thick and thin, perhaps he should have used a condom? ____________________ 2010 Triumph 1050 Sprint ST |

Yes and no. On the surface it seems logical, until the father of 4 who was driven to shoplifting because he just lost his job is then prosecuted by ASDA for getting caught shoplifting.
Many large chain stores can be quite lenient regarding shoplifting if you are lucky (one I worked in for example), however some stores in the same chain can have really pissy security management who will seek to prosecute someone for shoplifting if they look a bit "shifty" (one a friend worked in). |
In the twenty years I worked where catching the light finger brigade was a small part of the job, only 2 people, out of the thousands, come to mind where it was genuine hardship that caused them to go shop lifting. One of those was a woman of about 22 years of age, she had just been put into a flat as she had been thrown out by her abusive parents, she had had some friends around to see the flat and they had stolen her giro money.
She stole tampax, bog roll, dog food, and some other basics, they were the cheap stuff too. When her story checked out, we clubbed together and got her a £50 hamper sent to her home.
Many shoplifters are either I want, I'm going to have lot, or the ones where shoplifter is a job description. There are those who go out shoplifting for the buzz, they did something by accident, got away with it then went in for small things, made it bigger and bigger until it becomes a way of life. For some it is a cry for help or for some attention in a drab life. ____________________ Famous last words of Humpty Dumpty. " Stop pushing me "

This rings true. I know of many people who have shoplifted once, and quite a lot who made a habit of it when they were 15, and some who do it at 17-18 ( people who I associate with now I don't know of any, but mostly 18-21 age range there).
None of them were hardship, one guy used to steal sweets, drinks, crisps or anything he could get his hands on in shops at like age 15; sort of like a hobby. I know of times my ex and her friends stole stupid things like makeup, or a pair of tights...
Just middle class greed and some kind of pathetic thrill. There is no morality of 'only stealing from the big chains' either. |
