Plan on turning a 76 cb550 into a cafe racer .
One of the things i plan on doing is removing standard airbox ,and replace with cone type air filters. Wil this alter carb setup. And
if so ,what will i need to do to set them up right. Question

yes you will, probably up a 4 sizes atleast, more if you have changed the exhaust as well,
you'll also have to play about with the needle position, or even new needle sizes once you have sorted the main jets
have a read of this it should make things a little clearer

this is quite good as well https://dotheton.com/index.php?topic=9392.0;wap2
